Stutterheim Stockholm Raincoat
The perfect raincoat comes from the land that embraces melancholy.
On the small island of Arholma in the Stockholm archipelago, Stutterheim founder Alexander Stutterheim discovered his grandfather’s old raincoat in a barn, shortly after he passed away. This classic fisherman’s raincoat, durable and timeless, provided the inspiration for the first Stutterheim raincoat.
Made by hand from 530 gram rubberized cotton, it is completely waterproof. Each coat has double welded seams, metal press stud fasteners, cotton drawstrings to secure the generous hood, and a comfortable cotton blend lining. It’s a modern take on the iconic raincoat, with a tailor made topper that suits both men and women beautifully.
We find ourselves reaching for this coat even on days with zero chance of precipitation but feel especially smart when it's keeping us super dry in a downpour.
