Inis Meáin Knitting Company
Cashmere Patented Aran Sweater
The consummate Aran sweater - from the set of islands off the West coast of Ireland where Aran sweaters originated many generations ago.
Inis Meáin’s signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a rugged, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes.
- Crafted with Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, using only organic dyes.
- Available in Tan Mix, a warm camel tone with cream highlights and Red Mix, a crimson red mixed with khaki and subtle orange flecks.
- Designed, made and hand-finished in Inis Meáin's Aran Islands workshop.
