Sweater Comb
$18.00
What is a sweater comb? Two fine metal mesh screens that gently pick up stray pills from knits and sweaters while leaving renewed yarns behind.
Pills are caused by wearing (rather than washing). When fibers loosen, they form little balls, which tend to appear on loosely woven woolens, knitted synthetics, and blends. These pills commonly occur in areas of friction, such as cuffs and where arms rub along sides.
How to care of your favorite sweaters: Lay garment flat and glide in one direction over target areas using short strokes. Never use on knotty yarns or fibers (such as donegal).
