These tabi socks are made from organic cotton and tinted with natural botanical dyes. Tended by Tabio Japan through their entire life cycle from seed to socks, they are an inspired choice for the truly lucky feet.

Grown on 8 hectares in Koryo, Japan, home to Tabio HQ. This variety of organic cotton is reminiscent of fine, long staple Sea Island Cotton and feels like cashmere.  In addition, these cotton crops absorb salt from the soil.  This helps regenerate the rice fields damaged in the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.  By planting cotton on these fields, the salt concentration will be reduced each year, and rice will be able to grow there again.  In its goal of cultivating the best cotton for its socks, Tabio has embarked on a holistic project that benefits the environment, their community as well as their products.
